This
Smiley pitcher has a single flower in the
center of the chest, rather than on the shoulder,
was in the collection of Rudy Ganz (Shawnee
designer 1938-1946). The patent for Smiley
was applied for in 1942. Many decorative designs
were created. Bottom is marked "Patented
Smiley USA".
